Sub-contract electronics manufacturer, Contract Production, has been bucking the trend as it has continued to expand, both in terms of its base of operations and its client list.
The Yorkshire-based firm has progressed with work to redevelop its headquarters in Pickering, which will serve as a location to meet with potential new clients, as well as creating more space to allow the business to rearrange and grow its already comprehensive production line. The ambition for growth means Contract Production is always looking to streamline its processes to increase capacity and add to its client roster, which has already seen significant growth during the Coronavirus pandemic. The firm has added four new high-value customers to its order book since the lockdown period began in March.
This continued growth comes at an uncertain time for British business, as recent reports suggest the Covid-19 situation has plunged the UK into one of the deepest recessions on record. Contract Production’s Managing Director, Simon Norris, said:
