ROHM Semiconductor has been recognized by the Continental Automotive Group for its Discrete and Standard ICs in the Electronics category with the “Supplier of the Year 2014 Award”.

The highly renowned supplier prize, granted since 2008, rewards outstanding achievements in the production and delivery of products and services. In total, Continental awarded 15 companies, among them three electronic providers, out of 900 strategic suppliers. To determine the winners, the Group executes a comprehensive systematic review based on strictly defined criteria in terms of quality, technology, logistics, costs and purchase conditions.

ROHM received the award during the International Purchasing Manager Meeting in Dusseldorf by Dr Elmar Degenhart, Executive Chairman of the Board, Continental AG, and Günter Fella, Head of Purchasing at Continental Automotive.
