During this time we don’t tend to think about what we are surrounding ourselves in, or consider the quality of the air we’re breathing. However, air quality is a key contributor to feeling comfortable, and staying healthy.
Asthma attacks, irritated eyes, nose and throat, coughing and a range of other health issues can be caused by pollutants found within indoor environments. These pollutants can include smoke, particulates, and gasses from burning candles, cleaning chemicals, polishes, seasonal allergens, Carbon Monoxide and Nitrogen Dioxide. Which all add to the already extensive list of volatile organic compounds which can be found indoors.
The brand new EL-WEM is an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitor from EasyLog. Designed with your comfort and safety in mind the EL-WEM continually monitors the IAQ, helping to ensure high levels of air quality at all times. The EL-WEM’s sophisticated sensors measure both PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter, VOCs, temperature, humidity and pressure, displaying the air quality status via a coloured status ring.
The EL-WEM uses a five-stage traffic light system to rate air quality from Excellent down to Inadequate, displaying colours from green through to red with each light corresponding to the status of the air quality. A sounder alerts those nearby if IAQ drops to Poor or Inadequate.
This WiFi enabled device automatically uploads data to the EasyLog Cloud, where your data can be viewed, analysed and downloaded. Also in the EasyLog Cloud, your, EL-WEM can be configured to send notifications of poor air quality by email and SMS messages. You can also view, analyse and download your measured data.
