Binder adds M8 flange connectors with solder connection to its portfolio

Products

Binder has expanded its extensive portfolio with another variant for customised connection solutions – the M8 flange connectors with solder connection. They provide space-saving benefits with maximum flexibility during cable assembly, in a range of applications, especially those requiring customised cable lengths or manual production in small series.

Binder’s other M8 flange connectors come in dip-solder, wire and cable versions. The latest, solder-connection design, provides users with added options for configuring their connectors individually and according to specific requirements – particularly in automation and robotics, where compact designs and flexible signal transmission are essential, the new connectors prove to be a versatile solution.

“Continuously expanding and improving our connector portfolio is important to us. Responding to customer needs is a key part of this. Due to increasing demand, we have developed an M8 solution with solder buckets for the relevant applications,” explains Guido Werner, Product Manager at Binder.

The flange connectors with solder connection enable simple, manual wiring – for example in customised builds, small production batches or repairs. They are ideally suited for applications where standard cables are insufficient or where customer-specific cable lengths are required. Despite their compact dimensions, they ensure reliable signal transmission and are fully compatible with existing M8 interfaces.

Typical areas of use include automation and conveyor technology, sensor/actuator cabling as well as measurement and testing systems. Even in robotic systems with limited installation space, M8 flange connectors provide an efficient solution for precise signal transmission.
