The UK based team of over 200 designers, engineers and problem solvers, delivering customer-centric, world-class electronics design, manufacturing and supply chain solutions, has opened new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Basingstoke. The cutting-edge site represents the company’s vision of the factory of the future, combining advanced manufacturing capabilities with sustainable operations and inclusive workplace design.
The facility provides comprehensive electronics manufacturing services, with world-class Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production lines, advanced inspection systems, dedicated design support capabilities, rapid prototyping services, and complete supply chain solutions.

The facility has been designed around Industry 4.0 principles, incorporating smart manufacturing technologies throughout the production process. It also features a Lean Dojo area, an innovation centre and customer experience spaces.
Environmental responsibility is at the core of the facility’s design, with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles integrated throughout operations. The site features sustainable building materials, energy efficient systems, and waste reduction initiatives, making it one of the UK’s most environmentally advanced electronics manufacturing facilities*.
The September 2025 opening marked a significant milestone for TechPoint and represents a substantial investment in the UK’s electronics manufacturing sector. The facility is expected to strengthen the country’s position in advanced manufacturing.
