Norelem adds C-profile mounting rails and accessories to its portfolio

Products

UK-based company, Norelem, is expanding its product range with premium C-profile mounting rails and accessories. The cold-formed profile rails – also referred to as installation rails or simply C-profiles – are designed for use in machine and plant engineering and are ideal for installing components, cables, sensors and units in a quick and precise manner.

The mounting rails are available as systems 28 (28 x 15 and 28 x 28 mm) and 41 (41 x 22 and 41 x 41 mm). Their stable C-profile design allows them to deliver great flexural and torsional strength and to safely absorb tensile and transverse force vertically to the rail axis. System 41 is further set apart by its pronounced serration. This feature keeps threaded plates and T-head bolts securely in place – even if subjected to great transverse loads.

The large number of slotted holes allows for the quick and easy fastening of, for instance, profile feet, T-head bolts, threaded plates, rail connectors, brackets, and beam clamps. When combined with the matching accessories, the rails turn into universal installation solutions. If necessary, the rails can be shortened to the right length.

“The system offers an exceptional degree of versatility”, explains Almir Jakupovic, Sales Manager at Norelem. “Attachments can be freely positioned and adjusted in an infinitely variable way. Construction elements can be adapted to fit new bearing and fastening requirements as they can be replaced, retrofit or moved at any time.

Available in standard lengths of 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 mm, the mounting rails can also be requested in custom sizes from norelem. Made of galvanized steel, the profiles are robust and resistant to corrosion – essential properties for rough industrial environments.

Typical areas of application range from installing machine and equipment frames to attaching motors, sensors, measuring systems, and actuators to guiding cables and hoses for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical connections. Better yet, the mounting rails can also be used in electrical engineering (cable carrier systems, cable ducts, and risers), in sanitation, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and in the mounting of pipelines and fittings.
