Satellite communications solutions provider, ALL.SPACE, has launched its next-generation wideband, multi-orbit SATCOM terminal platform, Hydra MAX.
Part of the Hydra family, Hydra MAX is designed for users operating in contested, degraded and communications-denied environments. It provides access to high-capacity Ka-band LEO constellations whilst remaining compatible with MEO, GEO and HEO networks.
The platform supports wideband Ka networks with 500MHz of instantaneous bandwidth per Ka beam whilst maintaining its multi-orbit connectivity. Its multi-link operation keeps multiple live satellite connections simultaneously, thus allowing operators to reduce dependence on any single satellite network, orbit, band, waveform, or service provider. Being network-agnostic, the platform’s architecture enables operators to select the best satellite service for their mission, geography, threat environment, performance requirements, or contract structure.
The launch marks ALL.SPACE’s first major product launch since York Space Systems’s acquisition of ALL.SPACE , which was completed in early July this year.
