Belden launched new products for flexible and scaleable cybersecurity in operational technology environments and better network efficiencies. These consist of the Belden Virtual Firewall, which can be used as a hardware-agnostic solution in data centre, industrial or OT environments, and the LioN-X LC Digital I/O Modules which offer LioN-X benefits plus reduced Pin 1 current for lower system costs and improved efficiency.
The Firewall is designed for maximum flexibility, to enable organisations to scale security seamlessly as operations expand, architectures evolve, or risk profiles change. Three licensing tiers offer flexibility to scale protection as needs evolve; security features include deep packet inspection of OT protocols, intrusion prevention and high availability.
The new I/O modules are the first digital I/O modules launched under the Belden brand, representing a significant milestone in the company’s portfolio.
