New Adaptics Line From Winslow Aids Bread Boarding

News

Winslow Adaptics has introduced a range of products which will aid the process of bread boarding, especially where stabilized power supplies are required. Operating from any 5.5V-6V supply, these products which can be in either a 14- or 16-pin dual-in-line package, can offer a range of stabilized supplies from 0.8V to 3.3V at 1A.

Based around a synchronous buck regulator using a 4MHz switching rate, these devices have been designed for low noise and EMI. A low ripple current, typically less than 5mV, short circuit and over-current protection makes them suitable for most applications.

The 14-pin package, will give any one of the six available voltages (0.8, 1.2, 1.25, 1.8, 2.5 or 3.3) either factory set or user-selectable via a small in-line switch, mounted on the device. The second package, 16-pin DIP, can supply two factory-set 1A supplies from any of the available voltages.
