Theale, UK – Sondrel, one of the world’s leading system-to-silicon IC design consultancies, has announced the appointment of Massimo Cecchetti as European Sales Manager. Sondrel enjoyed a successful 2013 and this new post is one of a number created across the globe as the company doubled its worldwide workforce during the course of last year.
Massimo has twenty years’ in depth-experience in the semiconductor industry and his past achievements include setting up the Italian office of TMA (later Avant!) which was later acquired by Synopsys, plus positions at Infiniscale SA, Pulsic Ltd, and Credence Systems Corporation. He has acted as a consultant to many European EDA companies and also recently spent three years working in the renewable energy sector.
