The PCIM Europe in Nuremberg is just around the corner and willbe taking place under the motto "Let's power on!". Visitors can lookforward to a wide range of product innovations, a top-class forumprogram and a platform for live and personal exchange from 10 - 12May 2022. At this year's international exhibition for power electronics and itsapplications, around 400 exhibitors from more than 30 countries will beshowcasing a diverse range of products and services along the entirevalue chain of the industry. The organizer Mesago Messe FrankfurtGmbH has registrations from a host of registers among others newexhibitors from countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, France,Spain and USA. This year, the event in Nuremberg will be supplemented for the first timeby a digital event platform, which offers exhibitors and visitors theopportunity to arrange appointments for the exhibition period and initiateinitial contacts in advance. In addition, the "digital warm-up" on 4 May2022, provides visitors so-called "Teaser Talks". In this format, exhibitingcompanies will give a preview of the products to be displayed on-site. Innovations for diverse applications- The PCIM Europe offers suppliers of power electronics products andcomponents an ideal opportunity to present product innovations to thepublic for the first time. These can be viewed as "Trade fair innovations"in the list of exhibitors on the event website and will be presented partlyon the exhibition stands and partly in the form of product presentations atthe exhibitor forum in Hall 9. Suppliers of products related to power electronics for electromobility willshow these at the E-Mobility Forum in Hall 6, for example SEMIKRONInternational with the presentation "Laser Welding: Fast & ReliableJoining Technology for Ultra Low Inductance eMPack SiC AutomotivePower Modules" and Fraunhofer IFA on "Progress in Development ofGaN Power Devices". Top-class lecture and research resultsThose who want to deep dive into current research and developmenttopics in power electronics have two opportunities to do so.The expert forum in Hall 6 will address current trends and developmentsin panel discussions and presentations, such as "Recent Additions toCoolSiCTM Portfolio for Green Energy Solutions" (InfineonTechnologies) or "SiC: The Driving Force of E-mobility and ASustainable Future" (Rohm Semiconductor). In addition, on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons there will be theopportunity to attend the poster presentations at the conference takingplace at the same time. In this format, experts will present their latestresearch results in the form of posters in the foyer in front of Hall 9 (NCCMitte) and will be available to answer questions. The posterpresentations are open to exhibition visitors free of charge.Following each day of the exhibition, contributions of the forum andconference program can be watched on demand on the digital eventplatform. Tickets for the exhibition can only be purchased online. In addition to theexhibition, the visitor ticket also includes access to the digital eventplatform. Following the on-site event, the "digital follow-up" will take place on 18May 2022, which acts as a conclusion to the event and can be used tointensify the contacts made.
