Transmille is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a five-year contract from Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RA) for the supply of Multi Product Calibrators (MPC) to the United States Army. Multi Product Calibrators are used to calibrate a wide variety of handheld and bench mount digital multimeters and electronic test tools. A customised version of Transmille’s 4000 series will be used by Army CALSETS group in their mission to develop and deliver calibration measurement accuracy to the Army. Michael Bailey, Director of Transmille, sees the contract as a major milestone in Transmille’s growth as a global power in electrical metrology. “The innovations and flexibility of a smaller company have outperformed other suppliers” says Bailey. “We are immensely proud of our achievements and Transmille’s constant improvement and innovation ensures we are well positioned for further growth.” Bailey explains that the Transmille calibrator was selected after a rigorous competitive technical evaluation by the Army CALSETS group.
