New OCXO offers high stability over wide temperature range
Link Microtek has expanded its range of MtronPTI frequency control products with the
addition of the XO5120 series oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO), which delivers high stability and excellent phase noise performance over a wide range of operating temperatures. The new device achieves a stability of +/-2ppb over commercial temperatures and +/-3ppb over industrial temperatures, while phase noise is specified as -155dBc/Hz for a 10kHz offset at a nominal frequency of 10MHz.
Providing the systems designer with an extremely precise and stable reference timing source, the XO5120 is ideal for use in applications such as WiMAX base stations, microwave communications systems, and test and measurement equipment.
The OCXO supports supply voltages from 3.3 to 12VDC and is available with HCMOS/TTL or sinewave outputs and a choice of operating frequencies ranging from 10 to 100MHz.
With overall dimensions of just 36.5 x 27.5 x 16.0mm, the XO5120 is an extremely compact device and can be supplied in either through-hole or surface-mount packages.
