JDSU to highlight key optical communications technology at OFC/NFOEC 2009

JDSU announced that it will highlight solutions from its optical communications and communications test and measurement portfolios at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference/National Fiber Optics Engineers Conference (OFC/NFOEC) in San Diego, California from March 22 - 26. Conference attendees are invited to visit JDSU at Booth #2015 during the event to see its latest technology offerings.
JDSU will showcase a variety of optical communications solutions, including:
- Photonic integrated amplifier-the industry's only photonic integrated amplifier platform that is dynamically reconfigurable for a variety of amplifier functions.
- AON Super Transport Blade-the first single-slot blade solution that delivers all major functions required for optical network transport.
- Tunable transmission products-the latest in tunable technology that will enable new deployment models for NEMs.
- SP High-powered laser pump preview-the next generation of high-powered terrestrial pumps.

Communications test and measurement products on display at OFC/NFOEC 2009 include:
- mOPM optical power meter-a new optical power meter for the MAP-200 platform that provides increased input power range and other new features.
- HP3-60 Fiber inspection and test system-a unique, low-cost solution for combined fiber inspection and optical power measurement in one handheld device.
- T-BERD/MTS-4000 multiple services test platform-a compact test platform designed for all phases of the network lifecycle, from installation to maintenance of Access/FTTx networks and triple-play services.
- SMART optical channel checkers (OCC-55 CWDM and OCC-56 DWDM) - Compact and low-cost alternatives to optical spectrum analyzers for CWDM and DWDM test applications.

JDSU Speakers at OFC
