Calling all designers and innovators - we challenge you to take part in the IQRF design competition. Using the new IQRF modules and development tools (available with up to 70% discount for all participants) see how quickly your new design can be put into practice and entered into this unique competition.

IQRF innovative wireless network components are fully integrated modules with pre-programmed micro controllers and are intended to speed up time to market of reliable wireless mesh networks. The extensive IQRF product range offers transceiver modules with an embedded operating system through to IP accessible control panels and Ethernet gateways. Everything you need to quickly develop your idea to prototype stage and beyond.

About LPRS
What is IQRF?
IQRF is a complete modular platform for wireless peer to peer or network connectivity

Why Mesh Network?
To offer extended range – packets can be delivered via intermediate points (routers) to the destination (hopping) at up to 700 metres per hop
Avoiding obstacles – routing mechanisms have a capacity to detect temporary failures and use alternative paths
Lower RF output extends battery lifetime and generates less noise

WHAT TYPES OF APPLICATIONS ARE POSSIBLE WITH AN IQRF MESH NETWORK?
Due to their extremely low power consumption and ease of use IQRF Transceivers are ideally suited to, and easily integrated into, Smart Meters and Grids. For much the same reason the “Smart House”, Home Area Networks and Building Automation are ideal application areas for Mesh Networks
A broader arena for using wireless networks is the creation of the “Smart City” and Controllable Street lighting using bidirectional communication, routing up to 700 metres per hop and dynamic timing for fast responses.
