TDK-Lambda UK introduces a new online parametric search tool that allows engineers to narrow down their field of search to quickly identify the right power supply that fits their application’s requirements. There is a wide range of 1.5W to 100kW AC-DC power supplies and DC-DC converters available through the TDK-Lambda Parametric Search Wizard, with new products being added as soon as they become available.

The TDK-Lambda Parametric Search Wizard allows simple selection of both AC-DC power supplies and DC-DC converters based on output voltage/current and input voltage, as well as optionally specifying the required isolation voltage, mounting preference and remote on/off capability. The results displayed include product images to simplify selection of the power supply for the engineer.

Commenting on the new TDK-Lambda Parametric Search Wizard Martin Southam, Director of Marketing for
TDK-Lambda EMEA says: “There is no easier way to find exactly the right power supply for an application. Our Wizard will even find products with non standard input or output voltages – unlike many search tools which only give results for the most commonly requested voltages.”

The innovatively designed TDK-Lambda Parametric Search Wizard requires very low bandwidth to operate and therefore works well on slow dial-up or mobile data connections. No client side code, such as JavaScript® or Adobe® Flash® technology, is used either, which ensures that the TDK-Lambda Parametric Search Wizard works well with all desktop web browsers and the majority of smartphones, including iPhone® and Blackberry®, and those running Android™ and Windows® Mobile operating systems.
